Early detectors & early alarms

The truth is, that if you wait for your traditional alarm system to trigger, it’s already too late to prevent intruders from coming inside.

Outdoor Detectors

Outdoor beams are weatherproof infrared detectors, similar to indoor passives, but they are mounted externally. These beams are mounted on building walls to detect movement up to ten meters away, within a 90° angular range. They are able to detect and signal an early warning of an intruder on your property. If triggered, the pulsed infrared light will sound off the alarm system and alert owners to a presence in their yard.

Point-To-Point Beams

Point-to-point beams, also known as infrared beams, are a reliable and stable form of intruder detection. These beams are used in pairs consisting of a transmitter and a receiver - and are either mounted on walls or on brackets outdoors. The transmitter sends an undetectable and continuous pulse of infrared light to the receiver. If an intruder or object, for example, a person, dog or falling branch, breaks the invisible beam, an alarm signal will be triggered. These outdoor beams are usually installed across a driveway or near an entrance, as well as around the outer perimeter of a property.

Strip Beams

A strip beam is another reliable outdoor intruder detection device that is mounted on the walls of a house internally, for example on either side of window frames. This acts as an early warning system for intruders that have broken into the home. Strip beams consist of four strips of receivers and transmitters that generate an invisible, pulsed infrared light. If movement is detected due to the pulse being ‘broken’ by an intruder reaching through the beam, an alarm signal is immediately sent. These beams come in vastly differing sizes of up to ten meters.

Blue is seriously great. They're willing to go above and beyond. My dear mother is actually their client, but they were willing to patrol the broader area up to where I stay, just because I had a concern.

Very responsive. I have never had issues with them ever since I installed the alarm. Should my alarm go off and I do not answer the phones the armed response car is by the gate within minutes.

Thank you for your excellent service, from your emergency response team to your technical department and technical staff. Within a few hours of a late afternoon attempted illegal entry onto our property, Blue Security had their staff repair our damaged electrical fence after hours, ensuring our peace of mind for the evening. Greatly appreciated!
