Key Statistics for October

Armed Robbery:

November witnessed 31 reported cases of armed robbery, making up 5.21% of the total incidents. The increase in these violent incidents is a matter of concern, and we continue to prioritize efficient responses and community collaboration to mitigate these threats effectively.

Burglary:

With 139 cases reported, accounting for 23.36% of the total incidents, burglaries remain a significant area of focus. Our team is intensifying its efforts in preventive strategies and swift action to address these invasive crimes.

Common Theft:

The prevalence of common theft was particularly notable, with 218 reported cases comprising 36.64% of the total. These incidents, affecting everything from personal items to larger assets, highlight the critical need for heightened vigilance and proactive security measures within the community.

Trespassing:

Trespassing incidents, including unauthorized entries into properties, were reported 120 times, representing 20.17% of the total. Our dedicated approach to monitoring and promptly addressing these incidents is crucial in safeguarding the privacy and security of our residents and businesses.

Timing and Location Insights:

  • Daytime Incidents (64.20%):A majority of the incidents occurred during daylight hours, with a significant 33.28% taking place between 6 am and 12 pm, underscoring the importance of maintaining security awareness throughout the day.

  • Nighttime Incidents (35.80%): The cover of night continues to be a time of heightened risk, necessitating robust security measures to effectively counter these threats.

  • Incident Rate by Day: The highest average incident rates were observed on Wednesdays (16.30%), Thursdays (15.29%), and Saturdays (15.13%). This data helps us in strategically allocating our resources and efforts.

  • Operational Metrics: In November, we received a total of 213,752 alarm signals and 140,110 CCTV alerts. Our patrol teams covered a remarkable distance of 662,312 km, ensuring a consistent presence and readiness to respond.
