Trespassing: 86 cases were reported, showing an increase compared to last month, highlighting ongoing challenges in managing unauthorised access.
Burglary: There were 74 incidents, a decrease from June, reflecting the effectiveness of recent enhanced security measures.
Common Theft: Reported incidents stood at 138, signalling an uptick and reminding the community to remain vigilant.
Armed Robbery: 19 incidents were recorded, continuing a downward trend in this category.
Crime Trends Analysis
Day vs. Night: Daytime incidents rose to 258, while night-time incidents were recorded at 197, emphasising the need for both day and night vigilance.
Weekly Overview: Crime rates peaked on Monday with 96 incidents, with Thursday seeing the lowest activity at 62 cases.
Operational Highlights
SNIPR Vehicle Reads: Our SNIPR technology logged over 6 million reads, significantly contributing to identifying and preventing criminal activity.
Patrol Coverage: Our teams maintained a strong presence with 660,905 kilometres patrolled during July, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all areas.
