At the project’s core are AI-powered CCTV and ANPR technology breakthroughs. These advancements bring unparalleled precision to surveillance, offering real-time detection and swift response to security threats. By leveraging AI, we’re not just watching; we’re anticipating and acting, significantly reducing crime rates and enhancing community well-being.

1. Upgrading all current sites to AI Cameras – AI CCTV also stores information to review any incidents. However, AI cameras can detect and send real-time alerts through human and object detection capabilities. This means operators can send out mobile response units to manage a situation as it happens.

2. ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition)- directly linked to our Law enforcement database of stolen and suspicious vehicles, these cameras provide a powerful deterrent to criminal activity with the use of vehicles. The database is continually updated to ensure alerts are positive.

3. Camera installation sites will have either AI, ANPR, or a combination of both in strategic areas. These sites are selected through discussions with our trusted and valued community watch members.

• An increase of 23% in camera locations. 
• An increase of 27% in AI cameras. 
• An increase of 58% of ANPR cameras. 
• Totalling 241 cameras monitoring the upper highway area.  

5. Connecting uncapped high bandwidth fibre to the installation sites, providing optimal viewing capabilities.

6. Power supply systems which are solar-ready and capable of withstanding load shedding.

7. Experienced field CCTV specialists who will maintain the network, ensuring maximum uptime is obtained.

The Blue Community Command Centre (CCC) is our strategic hub, where technology and expertise converge. Staffed by skilled professionals, the centre uses cutting-edge surveillance software and multi-channel communication to ensure a coordinated response to threats. By integrating with broader crime-fighting initiatives, we amplify our impact, safeguarding communities efficiently and precisely.

Our Community Command Centre is –

1. Manned 24/7 by highly skilled CCTV and Community WhatsApp operator. They are trained to effectively process and disseminate information to key individuals in the field.

2. Equipped with state-of-the-art monitoring software to support advanced analytics and improved operator capabilities.

3. Equipped with multi-channel communication devices – radio, WhatsApp, telephone, Mobile phone.

4. Equipped with an E2 radio. As a registered E2 partner, we support greater crime-fighting initiatives. The Eyes and Ears Initiative (E2) is an official joint crime-fighting initiative between the South African Police Service (SAPS), Business Against Crime South Africa (BACSA) and the Private Security Industry (PSI) whereby the PSI formally cooperates with the SAPS by relaying information directly to the Provincial Operational Command Centre (POCC) and in some instances, receiving such relevant information directly from it.

5. Equipped with Crime-fighting Software which supports incident and suspect recording and profiling for investigative purposes.

This pillar represents our Armed Response Officers to Community Safety Ambassadors, each dedicated to the well-being of our communities. Through personalised safety programs and vigilant community engagement, our teams embody our commitment to security and the thriving spirit of the neighbourhoods we serve.

1. A 24/7 Tactical unit is deployed to support responses to alerts and emergencies. The team offers proactive and reactive security to our customers and networks.

2. Ambassador/Investigator/Criminologist –assisting communities with localised programmes to support crime prevention and addressing criminal activity and trends through investigations and profiling.

3. Community Development Managers – tailor bespoke solutions to meet community and customer needs.
