On a recent call-out to Tara Road, Bluff, Blue Security’s Armed Response Officer (ARO) was alerted by a resident who reported a suspect stealing from a property. The resident requested immediate assistance, and our ARO swiftly responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, the resident and the ARO conducted an internal check of the premises and discovered a suspect in the act of stripping copper pipes and aluminium from the property. The suspect was apprehended without incident, thanks to the swift and coordinated actions of both the resident and our ARO.
Brighton Beach SAPS were notified and promptly arrived on the scene to take the suspect into custody for further investigation.
This incident highlights the effectiveness of Blue Security’s rapid response times and the strong community collaboration in preventing property theft. Thanks to the quick thinking of the resident and the swift action of our ARO, the suspect was apprehended before further damage could occur.
