Blue Light Monitoring and Armed Response (Proprietary) Limited ("Blue Security") is Durban’s number one security company. Blue Security is a privately owned Durban based business that specialises in the sales, installation and monitoring of intruder detection systems and the provision of armed response services to the greater Durban area.

3. Guide in terms of section 10 of The Act

Information which is not readily available as indicated in this manual, may be requested in accordance with the procedure prescribed in terms of the Act. 8. Requesting procedures

Any person wishing to access any of the above categories of information or records, must complete the necessary request Form C. These forms are available from:
· the information officer at the offices of Blue Light Monitoring and Armed Response (Proprietary) Limited;
· the SAHRC website - www.sahrc.org.za;
· the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development website - www.doj.gov.za

The completed request form must be sent to the address or fax number provided in this manual, and marked for the attention of the Information Officer.

There is a prescribed fee (payable in advance) for requesting and accessing information in terms of the Act. Details of these fees are contained in the request form.

A requestor may also be called on to pay the addtional fees prescribed by regulation for searching for and compiling the information requested, including copying charges.

It is important to note that access is not automatic. The requestor must identify the right they are seeking to exercise or protect and explain why the record requested is required for the exercise or protection of that right.
