ADVICE YOU CAN USE: Beryl Cawood,  a reader of the Blue Alert passed on the following tip to us:  There is a way to stop electricity workers coming  on to your property to read the meter.

I take my reading on the 22nd of every month and phone my reading through.

You can contact eThekwini electricity on 031 – 3116548 and get a reference from them which they ask you for every month.  They also request your meter number and then your reading.
