Blue Alert for all Areas for the week preceding 19 October 2009

Housebreakings top of the list again this week. Thankfully armed robberies appear to be down, but hijackings remain a concern – they can so easily turn nasty. In this regard we extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of local lass Bianca Warburton who was so senselessly murdered in a botched hijacking last week in Alexandra, Johannesburg. Let’s take a look at what else has been happening.
