This is a classic example where a lack of security awareness resulted in a crime. We find it really difficult to understand that in South Africa crimes like these still happen on a regular basis. Odds are that there are people with criminal intentions wondering around your neighbourhood right now! It is however only when an opportunity presents itself that a crime can happen. Are you, your employees or family members inadvertently presenting criminals with the opportunities that they are looking for, or are you actively taking steps to ensure that you do not become a paragraph on next weeks’ Blue Alert?

Durban North, Queensview Place. Housebreaking (28 June, 16:39)
