BLUE ALERT FOR THE AMANZIMTOTI AREA FOR THE WEEK ENDING 26 JUNE 2009 

Amanzimtoti, Kingsway Road. Housebreaking - Business (23 June, 06:00)
Suspects cut the chain on the front gate & broke the door and entry was gained into premises. 2 cash tills, a cash box and unknown amount cigarettes were stolen from premises.

Amanzimtoti, Lewis Terrace. Housebreaking. (20 June, 21:27)
The driveway gate was derailed, the back security gate was forced open and front door was open with a key. The safe in the bedroom cupboard was forced out and forced open and jewellery worth R100 000, A Flatron TV worth R20 000, 2 camcorders and 2 laptops were stolen.

Amanzimtoti, Fraser Street. Housebreaking. (20 June, 23:41)
Entry gained through the bedroom window. The burglar bar was bent and window pushed in. A Samsung cellphone, clothes, jewellery and car keys were stolen. Estimated value R50 000.

Amanzimtoti, Heather Road. Housebreaking (22 June, 07:10)
The front door was broken & entry gained into premises. A plasma TV, hi-fi, LG microwave and coffee maker were stolen.

Amanzimtoti, Bus Brown Road. Theft of Motor Vehicle. (19 June, 04:57)
3 black males derailed the front gate and stole a white Honda Reg. ND 138757 and fled.

Amanzimtoti, Wavecrest Road. Theft of Motor Vehicle. (21 June, 16:48)
A white Kia bakkie, Reg. ND 599194 was stolen from outside the premises.
